1. They have such a crippling thirst for attention that missing their call is a police case. Yet they miss yours with impunity and no explanations.
2. They suddenly get bored with you and start regretting choosing you. They blame you for unbalancing their life but still, they won’t let you go.
3. You find yourself explaining basic elements of human decency and courtesy to a full-grown adult. Like respecting your boundaries and talking to you in a polite tone.
4. They blame you for the emotions they provoke. They start an argument and then accuse you of being dramatic.
5. They focus on your mistakes and overlook theirs. They’re flirting and stealing family time to stay on social media and yet they accuse you of not making time for family.
6. They complain when you don’t do things they never requested. They expect you to read their mind.
7. They contact your parents without a tinge of fear to say foul things about you.
8. They constantly compare you u unfavorably with other people.
For beginners, these are the telltale signs of a narcissist. Narcissists are essentially tormentors who catch their prey by seduction and by feigning love.
And no, you don’t attract them because you’re weak, but because you’re happy and independent.
