Bundotich Zedekiah Kiprop alias Buzeki, who is aspiring to be the next governor of Uasin Gishu County has outlined his agenda for the locals in the Healthcare sector.

The billionaire businessman says if elected the second governor of Uasin Gishu in the upcoming general election, he will prioritize changing the Health care equation.

This, Buzeki notes, will be achieved through matching health facilities with the value and sanctity of life.

“With your support, we will change the Health care equation, especially on matching facilities with the value and sanctity of life,” the businessman-turned-politician posted on his Facebook page, a platform he has been using to outline his agenda to the locals.

The gubernatorial aspirant also pledged that his administration will provide tailor-made ambulances which will ensure effectiveness in all seasons to save lives.

We will seek to provide Ambulances that are tailor-made for our terrain and environment in order to save lives in all seasons and places whether wet/dry in the valleys or the plateaus,” said Buzeki who unsuccessfully vied for the seat in 2017 as an independent candidate but lost to the outgoing governor Jackson Mandago who is serving his last term.

The billionaire businessman is considered among the front-runners for the seat that has attracted over 10 aspirants, including four women, – the current Nairobi County Devolution Executive Vescah Kangogo, former Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) chairperson Sarah Serem, former Eldoret East Member of Parliament (MP) Peris Siman and Dr. Barmao.

Other candidates seeking to succeed governor Mandago include; Kenyan Ambassador to Pakistan Prof. Julius Bitok, former KANU politician Jonathan Bii, Soy MP Caleb Kositany, former Teachers Service Commission (TSC) commissioner Cleophas Tirop, and Ng’enyilel Member of County Assembly (MCA) David Sing’oei.

Buzeki has not yet declared which party he will be using to vie for the seat, with a majority of the aspirants allied to the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) which is led by Deputy President William Ruto who is eyeing the top seat.
