Fresh graduates from technical institutions have been challenged to embrace technology so as to enhance their employability.
University of Eldoret Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC) Academic and Students Affairs Prof. Ruth Otunga has also challenged the graduates to come up with innovations and research that are in line with the current technological trends.
Prof. Otunga however challenged graduates to proceed to the next levels of their education. She spoke at the Central Primary School Grounds in Eldoret town during the 8th graduation ceremony of the Eldoret Technical Training Institute (ETTI).
She was the chief guest at the graduation that saw 2,200 graduates conferred with diplomas and certificates in different areas.
ETTI Principal Dr Albert Boss in his address also challenged the fresh graduates to aspire to leave a mark in their endeavours.

Strengths and resources
He further reminded them of their untold strengths – which he noted they will soon discover as they face life’s battles.
“You have untold strength and resources that you will soon discover as you come face to your life’s battles. From these battles that you may win or lose, you shall discover your glorious self,” Dr Boss told the graduates.
“Everything you do shall leave a mark hence choose what is good in order to be a blessing to the people around you,” he added.
