“Ensure children are guided and directed on what to watch, listen to, and do,” Mbutu advised.

He pointed out that it was important to monitor children at this period they are at home, as what they consume will impact their future lives.

According to the KFCB North Rift Manager, songs, videos or any other kinds of material that contains violence, crime, sex, and nudity are harmful to children.

“These contents are unacceptable, as well as others that talk about substance abuse, foul language that encourages propaganda for war, hate speech, and incitement,” Mbutu said.
