Uasin Gishu: Village Gets Proper Road Connectivity For The First Time

Residents of Arbabuch village in Moiben Ward have a reason to smile as the county government of Uasin Gishu continues with the construction of new road infrastructure projects in the area.

Led by John Lagat, the residents say since 1973, they have been leading a difficult life due to the absence of proper roads and a bridge.

Uasin Gishu Governor Dr. Jonathan Bii, visited the area and ordered a failed temporary foot bridge that has been relied on by residents for many years to be reinstated and the construction of Arbabuch Kapkures – Rai Farm road linking Moiben and Karuna Meibeki wards to be improved.

The ongoing comprehensive work involves survey establishment for other new roads that the Dr Bii’s administration targets to complete inorder to enhance mobility and boost agricultural activities.

Since he ascended to power in 2022, Governor Bii has been focusing on improving road networks.
