KCSE candidates who were unsuccessful in applying for the March 2026 KMTC intake have another chance to secure admission.
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has reopened applications for limited programmes.
In an update issued on Sunday, March 29, 2026, the Placement Service said only 21 courses are available for the current application window.
The application, the agency said, is open to candidates who had initially applied but failed to secure admission.
Form Four leavers who sat for KCSE between 2000 and 2005 are eligible to apply.
How to apply for KMTC courses through KUCCPS
Application for a KMTC course is strictly done online through the KUCCPS portal.
The portal will remain open until April 3, 2026. This is the second revision.
“Another round of applications for KMTC programmes is open, and 21 courses are available! Log in to the KUCCPS portal http://students.kuccps.ac.ke and apply before April 3, 2026,” KMTC said on Monday, March 30, 2026.

The window for applications opens barely a week after the March 2026 cohort reported to their respective campuses across the country.
21,774 students were expected to be admitted to 92 KMTC campuses and five satellite centres nationwide.
KMTC Chief Executive Officer Dr Kelly Oluoch further said they were working closely with KUCCPS to facilitate the release of admission letters for the first revision, which closed on March 13, 2026.
