Aviator: Governor Wisley Rotich Calls for Online Casino Game’s Total Ban in Kenya

Elgeyo Marakwet governor Wisley Rotich has joined leaders calling for the total ban of Aviator in Kenya.

Aviator is an online casino game that has gained traction among Kenyans of all ages.

While the game allows individuals to win millions, it has also left others devastated after loosing their hard-earned income.

Why Governor Rotich wants Aviator banned in Kenya

According to Governor Rotich, only a small percentage of money goes back to individuals playing the game, with a majority of it going to the owners.

Aviator is a computer programmed betting site which takes 100% from clients and distribute 5% back to a few clients therefore making 95% profit. Its insane!” Rotich argues.

Being an international company it means that we remove money in the economy and channel to international firms. The result is reduced liquidity in the economy. Everyone who bets earns his/her hard earned cash and hands over the money to some person sipping coffee in a top Hotel in the western world,” he added.

Negative impact of Aviator in Kenya

The county boss further pointed out that apart from the anguish that Aviator brings to individuals, families, children and society at large, it also ruins the country’s economy “because we donate cash with nothing in return.”

Aviator is a highly addictive online casino.

Its a pure heist,” he said while urging Elgeyo Marakwet residents to abandon the game and instead seek help at Iten Referral hospital from addiction counselors or mental wellness team.

We have lost so many innocent lives to this,” he lamented.

With the addiction and anguish caused by thisr playing the highly addictive online casino game, the Elgeyo Marakwet governor now wants the government to consider blocking the site in Kenya and disabling it from Kenya’s payment system.
