The Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) General Francis Ogolla together with his spouse Aileen Ogolla (Chairlady MWAK) visited Kenya Defence Forces troops and families undergoing medical care at Defence Forces Memorial Hospital and Defence Forces Wellness Centre in Nairobi.
During the visit that coincided with the festive season, the CDF relayed his message of goodwill and wished the patients a speedy recovery from their various ailments.
He also assured them of the military leadership’s support towards their recovery journey.

Gen Ogolla further passed his best wishes to the troops during this festive season.
Also present were the Assistant Chief of Defence Forces in charge of Personnel and Logistics (ACDF P&L) Major General David Keter, DFMH Commandant Brigadier Albert Nderi, senior officers and members of the Military Wives Association of Kenya (MWAK).
Spreading Christmas Love in the Eldoret Region
Last week, Deputy Commander Kenya Army Major General David Tarus visited troops deployed in Moi Barracks, Eldoret.
The visit was aimed at boosting their morale as well as wishing them good tidings in the festive season.
Addressing the soldiers, Major General Tarus applauded them for their dedication, patriotism and service throughout the year, mentioning that every soldier should strive to set high standards in professionalism, discipline and dedication, urging them to perform better in the coming year.

He further urged all service personnel to prioritise self-security during the holiday season and extended his warm wishes for a joyous Christmas and a prosperous New Year for the troops and the families.
“I want to thank all the soldiers for a job well done this year and your families for the continuous support they give you when you perform your duties. I want to wish you all and your families a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,” he said.
The Deputy Commander of the Kenya Army also took the opportunity to convey a message of goodwill and festive cheers to the soldiers from the Chief of the Defence Forces, the Commander Kenya Army and the entire KDF leadership.
Major General Tarus also visited patients admitted in different wards at the Eldoret Regional Hospital, wishing them a quick recovery and assuring them of the KDF leadership’s commitment to ensuring they get the best medical services for their recovery.
He also visited the Defence Forces Recruits Training School (DFRTS). Present during the visit were the Commander 110 Brigade, Brigadier Peter Assava and the Commandant DFRTS Brigadier John Kipya among other senior officers.
