The ongoing ambitious program by Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii’s administration for the expansion, repair, and gravelling of busy roads across all wards has been termed as a huge relief to the people.
Residents have expressed their gratitude for the work done by the Governor.
One of the projects is the ongoing road works along Kibatet-Chemino road which will enhance connectivity and enable residents to access Kibabet Dispensary, Megun youth polytechnic, Kibabet Primary, Koros Secondary School, and Chemino primary school with ease.
Julius Kemboi, one of the opinion leaders from Kibabet village, Megun Ward, Kapseret Sub County said the road has never seen a compressor or a grader for a long time.

Sylvester Korir of Ndoroto village as well as Josephine Chirchir and Florence Chepkwony of Chebarus village thanked the county government for the ongoing improvement of roads in their areas.

The implementation of the road projects is being undertaken across all 30 wards by contractors who were handed over the projects last week after being awarded the tenders.
