The mid-season transfer window for the FKF Premier League, FKF National Super League, and FKF Men’s Division One League has officially opened.
Football Kenya Federation (FKF) said the window opened on Friday, January 31, 2025.
This follows a communiqué from the FKF Competitions Department.
The opening of the window allows clubs in the three major leagues in the country to sign new players. Those wishing to move from their current teams can also do so.
“Clubs now have the opportunity to strengthen their squads as they prepare for the second leg of the 2023/24 season,” FKF said.
“The window will remain open until Friday, February 28, 2025, at 1700 hrs,” it added.
To ensure a smooth transition, only players whose transfers and/or registrations are completed by Wednesday of each week will be eligible to feature in weekend fixtures.
“This measure allows the competition department sufficient time to process player licenses,” FKF said.
“Any transfers or registrations submitted after the Wednesday deadline will be approved and processed for the following week,” it added.
