An array of hope especially for the less privileged has emerged for the constituents of Kwanza Constituency in Trans Nzoia County, thanks to the efforts of Peter Mukiri, a philanthropist and a social change agent.
He believes that education is the only tool to transform a society.
Mukiri, an engineer by profession came to the limelight in 2024 when he distributed relief food to thousands of flood victims.
The soft-spoken engineer over the weekend hosted residents of the three wards in Kwanza Constituency at his Bidii residence and he used the opportunity to highlight his big dream.
Through his foundation (Peter Mukiri Kamau Foundation) 29 students from humble backgrounds are enjoying their right to education.
“As a foundation, we have initiated several initiatives meant to uplift the lives of our people,” Mukiri stated during his housewarming party.
Simon Kairu, the foundation’s Director and spokesperson said they are keen on transforming society through education, sports, health, women’s and youth empowerment initiatives.
“Our foundation is four-legged and our patron is committee to the four pillars. His transformative agenda is evident,” Kairu said.
