Curtains came down on the Rift Valley Secondary School Association Term Two ball games on Friday, July 10, 2026. The games hosted in Narok produced several shocking results, with several heavyweights failing to impress.
The biggest upset of this year’s games was the elimination of multiple national football champions St Anthony’s Boys. The Trans Nzoia champions were eliminated at the semifinals stage by Nakuru’s Menengai Boys.
Menengai were, however, narrowly edged out 3-2 by Tenwek Boys, who staged a remarkable comeback in a thrilling final to seal the regional title and book their place at the KSSSA National Games.
St Anthony’s finished third after a dominant 9-0 victory over Kapsoit Boys in the third-place playoff. In the girls football finals, Trans Nzoia’s St Josephs Girls beat Nasokol Girls 3-1 to lift the regional title. Tenwek

Uasin Gishu’s ACK Chepsaita Secondary School silenced Trans Nzoia’s Andersen to lift the boys’ volleyball national title while Kesogon beat Kosirai Girls to win the girls’ title.
The champions in football and volleyball will now represent Rift Valley at the national level with an East African Secondary School Games spot up for grabs.

Laiser Hill secured a resounding 25-0 win over Trans Nzoia County Rugby Sevens Champions.

Laiser Hill and Saint Antony’s Kitale have booked a place in the National Rugby Sevens. In the playoff clash, Menengai High settled for the bronze medal with a 30-7 win over Wareng Boys.
Itigo Girls, on the other hand, bagged the Rift Valley Region Rugby Sevens Title in girls category after beating Saint Joseph’s Kitale Girls 19-0 in the final clash. In the playoff clash, Nasokol Girls settled for the bronze medal with a 7-0 win over Iraa.
