"Our objective is to equip our youths with skills needed both locally and internationally. We also give certificates to Kenyans who have skills but do not have them. We do this through Recognition of Prior Learning Programme (RPL) ," Akola stated. He prevailed on all the stakeholders of Kitale National Polytechnic to support his successor. "I urge you to embrace my brother the way you embraced me when I landed here in 2021," Akola urged. Dr. Guantai said the two National Polytechnics are very crucial for TVET education in Kenya.
