Eldoret is one of the fastest-growing towns in Kenya.
As per the 2019 Kenya Population and Housing Census, Eldoret is the fifth most populated urban area in the country after Nairobi, Mombasa, Nakuru, and Ruiru.

Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC)
The KMTC Eldoret campus was established in 1997.
It is a nationally top-performing college, hosting above 1,000 students. The institution’s course duration goes up to 2 to 2.5 years for certificate and 3years for diploma aside from community health nursing which takes 3.5 years.
KMTC Eldoret campus students use Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) for their practice. Additionally, students use rural health centers outside Eldoret town but within the county for their training.

Eldoret Aviation Training Institute (EATI)
