University Of Eldoret to Host KUSF National Playoffs

All is set for the 2023 Kenya Universities Sports Federation (KUSF) National Play-Offs that will be hosted in Eldoret town.

The University Of Eldoret (UOE) will be the host for the games scheduled to start from March 31, 2023, to April 2, 2023.

Universities representing 6 conferences (regions) will be battling for trophies in different categories.

Disciplines that the universities will be competing in include Basketball, handball, hockey, netball, soccer and volleyball.

Each conference has two representatives in each discipline.

Hosts UoE will be representing the KUSF Rift Valley conference in basketball women, handball men, netball women as well as soccer women and volleyball for men and women.

Other Rift Valley representatives in the games are Kabaraka University and Laikipia Univerisity in Basketball men, Egerton Univeristy (Handball men and women), and Moi University (Handball men and also women).

For those from Western Kenya, Maseno, Kisii and Masinde Muliro Universities will be representing the conference in various categories.

Chuka University, Embu University and Dedan Kimathi University are also some of Central Kenya’s representatives.

From the Coast, the Technical University of Mombasa (TUM), Lukenya University and Pwani University will be their participants.

Further, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), United States International University (USIU), Daystar University, Mount Kenya University (MKU), and Gresta University will be participating in the KUSF National Playoffs.

Zetech University, Strathmore, as well as the University of Nairobi (UON), are others that have confirmed their participation in the games.

Over 30 universities have confirmed participation.
