2024 KCSE: Caleb Amisi Celebrates as Students He Sponsored Shine

Saboti Constituency legislator Caleb Amisi has celebrated some of 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidates who posted exemplary performance after benefitting from his sponsorship.

In a Facebook post, Amisi said he is proud of the candidates’ academic achievements.

I’m proud to see the incredible achievements of the students I’ve had the honor of sponsoring over the past four years. Their hard work, resilience, and dedication have truly shone through in their impressive KCSE 2024 results,” the MP posted.

Amisi attributed their success to determination and seizing opportunities.

Each success, whether it’s a top score or overcoming obstacles, is a testament to their determination and the power of opportunity,” he added.

The legislator, an alumni of Starehe Boys’ Center is a firm believer of former President of South Africa, Nelson Mandela’s quote that education is the only equalizer.

As they are set to join university, I am reminded of the powerful words by Nelson Mandela: Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. These students are now equipped to sit alongside the best and brightest, forging a path to a brighter future,” Amisi posted.

St. Patrick’s Makunga 2024 KCSE results

Meanwhile, there was dance and celebrations at St. Patrick’s Makunga Secondary School in Trans Nzoia where over 89 candidates scored above C+ and above in the results released by Education Cabinet Secretary, Julius Ogamba.

Moses Wabwire, the Principal of the mixed day and boarding school attributed the performance to hard work, team work and commitment to excellence.

We have a culture of teamwork, zero tolerance to mediocrity, timely completion of syllabus and of course reliance on God,” Wabwire stated.
