Eldoret’s Kidiwa Affordable Housing Project Complete, Awaiting Commissioning

Following the laying of the foundation stone by President William Samoei Ruto in January 2024, the Kapsuswa/Kidiwa Affordable Housing Project in Soy Constituency, Eldoret City, has now been completed and is now awaiting commissioning and occupancy.

Final landscaping works, including grass planting, are currently underway.

The development delivers 220 housing units across nine residential blocks, alongside integrated commercial spaces that will support businesses and provide essential services within the estate.

Residents will also benefit from a social hall, children’s play areas and a tree nursery, creating a vibrant and environmentally conscious community.

Modern supporting infrastructure, including solar-lit walkways, paved access routes, boreholes and backup power systems, has been incorporated to ensure a safe, reliable and sustainable living environment.

The State Department for Internal Security and National Administration continues to support the successful rollout of such transformative projects through coordination with local administrators and stakeholders, helping maintain a secure and conducive environment for investment, service delivery and community well-being across Eldoret City,” said PS Raymond Omollo.
