Gladys Boss Affirms National Parliament’s Readiness to Collaborate with Judiciary, Executive

National Assembly Deputy Speaker Gladys Boss has commended the judiciary for its progress.

The Uasin Gishu County Woman Member of Parliament named digitisation, backlog reduction and strengthening mediation and alternative justice as some of the progress the Judiciary has made.

She spoke after representing National Assembly Speaker Dr Moses Wetang’ula at the launch of the Annual State of the Judiciary and the Administration of Justice Report FY2024/25 on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

The report offers a clear, candid reflection of the Judiciary’s progress — from digitisation and backlog reduction to people-centred reforms that strengthen mediation and alternative justice,” Gladys Boss said.

I commend the Judiciary for this steady and deliberate work,” she added.

The legislator further noted that the National Assembly will continue funding and safeguarding judicial independence.

This she said, will ensure every Kenyan can access dignified justice.

On behalf of the National Assembly, I reaffirm our unwavering readiness to collaborate with the Judiciary and the Executive,” the deputy speaker said.

Parliament remains committed to legislation and funding that safeguard judicial independence, strengthen human capacity, and deliver permanent, purpose-built court infrastructure, ensuring every Kenyan can access timely and dignified justice,” she added.
