‎Harambee Starlets Coach Beldine Odemba Names ‎Provisional Squad for WAFCON 2026 ‎

Harambee Starlets head coach Beldine Odemba has named a 29-player provisional squad ahead of the 2026 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), set to be held in Morocco from July 26 to August 16, 2026.

‎The players are expected to report to camp on Monday, June 29, 2026, as preparations begin for Kenya’s second appearance at the continental showpiece.

‎‎The provisional squad retains the core of players who have featured prominently in the team’s recent international assignments.

‎‎Back in the national team set up are Trinity Starlets duo Lilian Adhiambo and Elizabeth Muteshi.

‎‎The squad also reflects the continued progression of several players who have risen through Kenya’s youth national team structures and are now establishing themselves within the senior set-up, that is, Fasila Adhiambo, Marion Serenge, Elizabeth Mideva, Elizabeth Muteshi and Elizabeth Ochaka

‎‎Harambee Starlets WAFCON 2026 Group Stage Fixtures

‎Harambee Starlets will begin their WAFCON 2026 campaign against hosts Morocco on July 26 at the Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat, with kick-off scheduled for 11.00 pm EAT.

‎‎Kenya will then face Senegal on July 30 at the Olympic Stadium, with the match set to kick off at 8.00 pm EAT.

‎The team’s final Group A fixture will be against Algeria on August 3 at the Olympic Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 11.00 pm EAT.

‎‎The tournament marks Kenya’s return to Africa’s premier women’s football competition ten years after making their debut appearance in 2016.

‎‎”Representing Kenya at WAFCON is a privilege, and as a team, we have set ourselves a clear target. We know that a place in the semi-finals would give us our debut in the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil, and that is something we are striving for, ” said Coach Beldine Odemba
