The Kenya Power Foundation has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting education and student’s well-being with a KSh 2.5 million donation to Kabarnet High School in Baringo County.
The funds will go towards supporting the construction of a modern ablution block aiming at improving hygiene and learning conditions for over 1,500 students at the school.
In addition, the initiative will boost student’s focus and academic performance by fostering a healthier, more conducive learning environment.
The cheque was officially handed over by Kenya Power’s Managing Director who is also the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Eng. Joseph Siror.

Speaking during the event, Eng Siror underscored the Kenya Power Foundation’s unwavering commitment to improving educational infrastructure across the country.
He was joined by Daniel Kipkoech, the Regional Manager Central Rift, Baringo County Business Manager, Samwel Kibet Boigor, and members of the regional team.
Eng. Joseph Siror also took the opportunity to mentor the students, emphasizing the foundation’s commitment to promoting Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education as a critical driver of future opportunities.
