Kenya U-15 National Team Name Squad for CAF African Schools Championship CECAFA Qualifiers

Kenya U-15 Boys’ National Team head coach Patrick Nyale has named a 20-player squad for the 2026 CAF African Schools Football Championship CECAFA qualifiers, scheduled to take place in Kigali, Rwanda, from September 3 to 5, 2026.

The Kenya U-15 Boys’ National Team will represent the country at the regional qualifiers as they begin their campaign for a place at the continental championship.

Nyale will be assisted by Bousten Akoolo Mukolwe, while David Okello will serve as the Goalkeeper Coach. The technical team also includes Team Manager Dan Odhiambo, Safeguarding Officer Amboko Mukasa, Medical Staff Edwin Amayo and Kits Manager Collins Gikaria Murigi.

Meanwhile, Kenya U-15 Girls’ National Team head coach Mary Adhiambo also named a 20-player squad for the 2026 CAF African Schools Football Championship CECAFA qualifiers.

Adhiambo will be assisted by Rachel Nanjala, while Vivian Akinyi will serve as the Goalkeeper Coach. The technical team also includes Neddy Kutsuru as Team Manager, Mercy Achieng as Safeguarding Officer, Sambi Mohamed as Medical Staff and Hellen Nyawira as Kits Manager.

Team Travel and Draw

The team is tentatively scheduled to travel to Kigali on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, ahead of the qualifiers.

The official draw is set to take place on Wednesday, September 2, a day before the competition gets underway.

The qualifiers will then run from September 3 to 5, with the Kenya U-15 Girls’ National Team set to compete for a place at the continental stage.
