Talanta Stadium, located along Ngong Road in Nairobi is steadily taking shape as a landmark facility as Kenya prepares to host the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The ultra-modern stadium will have a seating capacity of 60,000, promising an electrifying atmosphere when the continent’s premier football tournament kicks off.

Rising 56 metres (approximately 183.7 feet) high, the arena features eight grand entry points inspired by traditional shields, symbolizing strength, unity, and heritage.
Its architectural design thoughtfully blends cultural elements with modern engineering, positioning the facility not only as a sporting venue but also as a national symbol of pride.

Beyond the pitch, the stadium is designed to offer a premium spectator experience.
Exclusive, lift-serviced skyboxes will be available for hire, providing an executive setting where guests can enjoy matches on large screens in comfort while hosting partners and associates.
The facility will also include cafés to be leased to Kenyan entrepreneurs, creating business opportunities alongside world-class sporting and entertainment experiences.

The project is being overseen by the Kenya Defence Forces, with more than 3,000 personnel on site, including foremen, skilled labourers, forklift drivers, and lift operators.
Their collective efforts are geared towards ensuring the stadium is completed on schedule and ready to showcase Kenya to Africa and the global community.
