Governor Bii has allocated funds in the 2025/26 financial year specifically to purchase additional fire engines, establish and equip more fire stations to decentralise fire and emergency services and improve the morale of fire and rescue teams,” Dr Serem stated.

He added that the county will purchase new tunics, equipment and continue to invest in the team as he appreciated them for their vibrancy and quick response to emergency incidents not only in Uasin Gishu but also in the neighbouring counties.
