President William Samoei Ruto has issued 10,437 title deeds for five adjudication sections in Elgeyo Marakwet County, Kerio Valley Sub-County, Endo Ward.
The President emphasized the Government’s commitment to ensuring every Kenyan has secure land ownership through the issuance of title deeds.
Speaking at the Kerio Valley Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), President Ruto highlighted that the titles were issued to residents of Chesoi, Kocholwo A, Upper Cheptebo B, Chepsigot B, and Tuturung adjudication areas.
He also noted the formation of a committee to address community land issues, ensuring equitable land ownership for all.

The President reiterated his administration’s commitment to health matters, stating that KMTC will continue training nurses and clinical officers to boost Universal Health Coverage (UHC).
“We have plans for the construction of a hostel with a capacity for 300 students and additional funding to support TVET institutions in the area,” said President Ruto.
He further revealed a Ksh 600 million allocation to employ 600 teachers for KMTC to enhance training and service delivery
The President was accompanied by Cabinet Secretaries Alice Wahome (Lands), Kipchumba Murkomen (Interior), Debora Barasa (Health) and several Principal Secretaries.

Other leaders present during the event were Elgeyo Marakwet Governor Wesley Rotich, Senator William Kisang, Women Representative Caroline Ng’elechei, Marakwet East MP David Bowen Kangogo, Sigor MP Peter Lochobong, Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi and Uasin Gishu Senator Jackson Mandagor.
President Ruto also reaffirmed his administration’s focus on making resources accessible for higher education and improving land governance across the country.
