Uasin Gishu Senator Jackson Mandago has recorded one of the most significant surges in public approval among Kenya’s elected leaders, according to the latest CountyTrak Performance Index 2026 released by Infotrak Research and Consulting.
In a nationwide survey conducted between January and May 2026, Mandago saw his approval rating jump from 40 per cent in 2024 to 58 per cent in 2026. This 18-point increase propelled him from the 32nd position in the previous assessment to 14th place in the current senator rankings.
The survey, which gathered responses from 87,286 participants across all 47 counties, highlighted Mandago alongside Marsabit Senator Mohammed Said, Turkana Senator James Lomenen, and Bomet Senator Hillary Sigei as the most improved senators.

Infotrak identified the delivery of campaign promises as the primary driver behind these rating shifts, influencing 41 per cent of public perception. Transparency, accountability, and the initiation of development projects also played major roles in shaping citizen opinions of leaders like Mandago.
