Eldoret Falcons Get First Win in FKF Women National Super League

After a dismal start in their new FKF Women National Super League campaign, Eldoret Falcons finally secured their first win over the weekend.

Playing at their Moi Marula Primary Schools Grounds, Eldoret Falcons registered an invaluable 3-0 win against Kolwa Falcons.

Miriam Chenamai scored Eldoret Falcons first goal with Orlando hitting a brace – both goals assisted by Monica Atieno to ensure a home side win in the Falcons Derby.

In the Nyanza Derby, Gideon’s Starlets suffered their first loss at the hands of Kisumu All Starlets.

Despite playing at home – Opanga Primary School – Gideon’s that went into the game undefeated fell 3-2 to the visitors who remain with 100 per cent record.

Monica Etot scored a hattrick for the Kisumu All Starlets while Stacy Nawranga and Snyder Tsitsika scored the two Gideon’s Starlets goals.

In other Zone B matches, Royal Starlets were 4-1 winners against visitors Gene Queens.

Phoebe Mwangale and Dorine Simiyu scored a brace each to help the Starlets secure maximum points while Faustine Mideva scored Gene Queens consolation goal.

In Zone A matches, MTG United beat Falling waters 1-0 while Macmillan Queens and Kangemi Ladies played to an entertaining 2-2 draw.

Kayole Starlets and Uweza Women FC also shared the points with a 1-1 draw.

The FKF Women National Super League continues over the weekend.
