Eldoret Falcons will look to extend their winning streak in the FKF Women Division One League this weekend as they host Rongai Eaglets.
The Eldoret-based team currently sitting on top of the Zone B table will be hoping extend their recent form as they face the third bottom placed club.
Rongai Eaglets from Nakuru County has so far only managed a single win in the last five league matches.
Ahead of the game that will be played at Moi Marula Primary School in Chepkoilel, Falcons tactician Joshua Ariko has called upon his side to remain focused in the coming match as the club is yet to face tougher fixtures ahead.
“The league is very competitive, all these teams are good and competition is still yet to be seen. I would like the playes focused at a game at a time,” he said
In the other match, Kitale-based Royal Starlets will host Eldoret’s Solasa Stima Queens at Birunda Grounds as Kisped will try to regain top spot as they host Nyuki starlets.
There will also be a Lakeside derby on Sunday as Gideon’s Starlets will be battling Kolwa Falcons at Opanga Primary School.
Both Gideon’s and Kolwa narrowly won their last weekend away matches.
Kolwa beat Gene Queens of Eldoret 1-0 at the Eldoret Show Ground as Gideons won 2-1 against Soccer Assassins.
Six teams are tied at the second position of the FKF Women Division One Zone B table with 10 points after five matches.
