ELDOWAS Team Promoted to Kenya Volleyball Men’s National League

Eldoret Water and Sanitation Company’s (ELDOWAS) men volleyball team will be playing in the national league next season.

The team has officially been promoted to the Kenya Volleyball Men’s National League.

The promotions follows the impressive performance of the Eldoret-based side which finished second in the Division Two League.

ELDOWAS has been promoted alongside CHEMA which finished top of the league.

A letter from the Kenya Volleyball Federation dated July 18, 2025, seen by Uasin Gishu News, confirmed the promotion.

The Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) extends its warmest congratulations to your team for the outstanding performance in the recently concluded Men’s Division Two League,” read part of the letter.

According to the federation, ELDOWAS performance throughout the Division Two season was a testament to the team’s hard work, discipline, and competitive spirit.

The Federation has duly recognized your achievement and is proud to welcome your club into the elite ranks of national volleyball competition,” it added.

The letter confirming ELDOWAS promotion was authored by Kenya Volleyball Federation’s National Sports Organizing Secretary John Oronje.

Once again, congratulations and best of luck in the upcoming season,” Oroje further said in the letter.

The promotions will seee the ELDOWAS team face off with some of the elite men’s volleyball teams in the country.
