The National Nurses Association (NNA) has offered to sponsor Jeptoo Jacobeth for further training to enhance her emergency response skills.
Jeptoo, who recently graduated as a nurse, was among the first persons who responded to the tragic Mosop helicopter crash that claimed the lives of six people, including Emurua Dikir MP Johanna Ng’eno.
According to the Nurses’ association, Jeptoo’s response was a powerful reminder of the courage, competence, and humanity that nurses bring to every emergency.
“Jeptoo’s actions reflect not only personal bravery, but the strength of a profession built on service, preparedness, and unwavering commitment to life-saving care, even in the most challenging circumstances,” the association said.

The courses that the association has offered to sponsor the nurse do are Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
What did Cherargey promise nurse Jeptoo?
Earlier, Nandi Senator Samson Cherargey offered to pay for her upcoming exams and pending school fees to allow her to clearance and get registered as a practicing nurse.
Cherargey said Jeptoo cleared her studies at Kendu Bay Adventist School of Medical Sciences in February 2026 with Community Health Nurse course.
“She is waiting to do the Kenya Nursing council Qualifying Exams scheduled for May 2026,” the senator said.
“We shall work the journey with her until she gets placement and advance her efforts of serving humanity as an honour of our departed brothers,” he added.

Jeptoo earned praise online for her efforts to safe the lives of those who were in the helicopter after the tragic incident on Saturday, March 1, 2026.
