KCSE 2025 results were released on Friday, January 9, 2026 by Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba.
The event was held at AIC Chebisaas Boys in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County.
As it has been the tradition for the last three years, the Ministry of Education did not rank schools performance.
However, Uasin Gishu News takes a look at some of the top performing schools based on the results complied from different sources.
Moi Girls High School Eldoret 2025 KCSE results
Moi Girls High School Eldoret maintains its dominance as the top school in Uasin Gishu.
It had a mean grade of 9.74 with 98 percent of its candidates scoring university entry grades.
The national school in Eldoret had 33 candidate with straight As, 115 A- (minus), 123 B+ (plus) and 94 B (plain).
39 candidates who sat for KCSE at Moi Girls High School Eldoret scored a B- (minus) while 28 had a C+ (plus).
Only 10 candidates did not attain university entry grades.
Loreto High School Matunda 2025 KCSE results
Second on the list of the top school in Uasin Gishu was Loreto High School, Matunda.
With a mean of 9.0, the school which topped in Soy Constituency had 2 As, 26 A-, 56 B+ and 123 B.
64 students had a B- and 18 C+.
98 per cent of the 292 candidates attained university entry grades with only 5 students scoring before C+.
The school has had a steady rise in results for three consecutive years.
How did Paul Boit perform in 2025 KCSE?
Paul Boit High School, Kapkong was the best boys school in Uasin Gishu after attain a mean of 8.244.
88.2% of the 221 candidates at the school attained university entry grades 17 of who scored A- (minus).
30 other candidates had a B+ (plus) with another 45 scoring a B (plain).
57 and a B- while 48 scored a C+ (plus).
AIC Chebisaas Boys 2025 KCSE mean grade
AIC Chebisaas Boys, a national school where the results were released has a mean grade of 7.0941.
The top candidate at the national boys school has an A- (minus) with 9 others scoring a B+ (plus) while 28 had B (plain).
74 candidates at AIC Chebisaas Boys scored B- while 108 others had a C+ (plus).
However, over 100 candidates scored before university entry grades.
Segero Adventist School 2025 KCSE results
Segero Adventist School had a mean grade of 7.7 with 79 perfect of the candidates attaining university entry grades.
11 candidates scored A- (minus), 18 had a B+ (plus) while 37 had a B (plain).
52 others scored a B- (minus) while 61 had C+ .
Dry’s Girls KCSE results 2025
Dry’s Giris Secondary School in Ainabkoi Sub-County also registered impressive results with a mean grade of 7.5.
Top student had an A- (minus) followed by 5 students who had a B+ (plus) while 32 candidates has B (plain).
82 candidates had B- (minus) and another 90 had a C+ (plus) translating to 84% of those who scored university entry grades.
The school has 252 candidates out of which only 42 scored below C+ (plus).
