List of 23 Female Athletes Who are The Current World Record Holders

At least four Kenyan athletes are the current world record holders in different disciplines.

Top on the list are Faith Kipyegon and Beatrice Chebet, both of whom are currently holding more than two world records.

Chebet is the current world record holder in 5,000m, 10,000m and two 5 kilometres road races (for both women-only and mixed race) while Kipyegon is the record holder for 1500m and a mile.
