Moi University has shared further details of its upcoming 48th graduation ceremony.
The university had announced in November that it would hold the graduation on December 18, 2025.
The graduation will be held at the university’s main campus in Kesses, Uasin Gishu County, at the Graduation Pavilion.

According to the latest notice issued by the university, students who cleared and confirmed their results with their respective deans are the only ones who will graduate.
What is Moi University’s graduation fee?
The university has also released details on various fees that graduands will be required to pay. The convocation and alumni fees, which are mandatory, have been set at Ksh 8,000 for PhD and Clinical Fellowships, while Master’s and Post Graduate Diploma Graduates will pay KSh 7,500 each.
Diploma graduands will pay a convocation and alumni fee of Ksh 5,000.
The fees are paid via the e-Citizen platform.
To book graduation attire, graduands will be required to do so online in consultation with the respective deans of schools and campus collection points.
“Graduation attire should be returned on or before Friday, January 16, 2026. Failure to do so will attract a penalty of Ksh 500 per day,” the university said.
When is the Moi University graduation rehearsal?
All graduands are required to attend a mandatory graduation rehearsal, which is set for Wednesday, December 17, 2025, starting at 9.00 am.

“The links will be shared on Tuesday, December 16, 2025,” noted a notice issued by the university.
Collection of certificates and transcripts is scheduled to start on January 19, 2026, and will be guided by the approved date booked online.
“Students are advised to start online clearance once listed to graduate,” the university said.
