Moi University has finally set the date for its 44th graduation ceremony.
In a notice on its website and official social media pages, the Kesses-based University said it will be holding the graduation virtually.
The date for the graduation, according to the notice will be on December 22, 2022.
“Moi University wishes to inform all candidates who qualified for conferment of various degrees and award of diplomas at the end of the last academic year 2021/2022 that the 44th graduation ceremony will be held virtually on Thursday 22nd December 2022,” read part of the notice signed by university’s Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof. Isaac Kimengi.

The notice is dated November 22, 2022.
Further, the institution has asked the graduands to confirm with their respective deans examination results and full names as per admission records.
Prospective graduands were also advised to clear any fee arrears or charges as, according to Moi University deputy VC, those who will not have met all the requirements will not be on the graduation list.
“It is important to note that the names in the graduation list/booklets should be supported by the KCSE certificate, birth certificate, admission letter, postgraduate certificate and national identity card only,” said Prof Kimengi in the notice.
“Once the graduation booklet is printed, no altercation whatsoever will be made on the names,” he added.
While the graduation will be virtual and streamed live on Facebook, YouTube and Zoom, the guests will be at Moi University Main Campus Pavillion in Kesses starting from 8.00 am.
