Eldoret is today ranked as the fifth most populated urban area in Kenya after Nairobi, Mombasa, Nakuru, and Ruiru.
The town which serves as the headquarters of Uasin Gishu County is pushing for an elevation to be a city.

5. National Bank Building

At 22 meters high, the National Bank Building with 6 floors is ranked at number 5. This building is located along Uganda Road, just next to the Uasin Gishu County government headquarters.
The county had attempted to purchase the building for over Ksh500 million to be used as offices for its staff but the plans were stopped following concerns from locals over its price tag.
This building hosts the National Bank among other private offices.
4. Eldoret White Castle
Built in 1980, White Caste is 33 meters high with 9 floors.

It houses the famous White Castle Motel and has a strategic location at the Eldoret Main Matatu terminus, just opposite the Central Police Station.
3. Kiptagich House
Also located along the Uganda road, at the west end side of Eldoret town, Kiptagich house ranks as the third tallest building in Eldoret town.
The building is almost the same height as Eldoret White Castle – 9 floors and 33 meters high.

Kiptagich House has some of the key government offices and installations in the town among them the Central Bank, Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) North Rift regional offices, NSSF offices, and the Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) branch.
2. KVDA Plaza
Sitting just next to the National Bank Building and the County Government of Uasin Gishu headquarters, KVDA Plaza is a building that was set up by the Kerio Valley Development Authority (KVDA).

The building is 59 meters high and has two wings, one recently constructed with both rising for 16 floors.
KVDA Plaza plays host to a number of government offices including NHIF regional offices, NACADA, IPOA, Communications Authority of Kenya (CA), Kenya Power as well as multiple County Government of Uasin Gishu offices.
1. Eldoret Daima Towers
Also known as the Moi University Pension Scheme Complex, the Eldoret Daima Towers holds the crown of the tallest town in Eldoret.
Construction works for this 26-floor building started in 2016 and it is currently fully complete with several tenants already operating from it.
The Eldoret Daima Towers is 96 meters high.

Some of the key offices and facilities at the building include the Nation Media Group bureau, Law Society of Kenya (LSK) regional offices, and the Wings 23 Restaurant & Pub, a high-end rooftop restaurant with a rooftop bar and a terrace sitting.
