Keiyo South MP Gideon Kimaiyo has secured a partnership with Multichoice that will enable football lovers in the constituency follow the World Cup from the comfort of their homes.
Under the partnership announced on Saturday, November 19, 2022, the MP said every football lover will have an opportunity to watch the matches.
DSTv is among select companies that have been given full rights to air all the 64 World Cup marches.
The tournament begins on Sunday, November 20, 2022 in Qatar.
“Today, I partnered with DSTV Kenya through Multichoice to ensure that no youth or football fan in Keiyo South will miss watching the 64 matches lined up in the tournament,” Kimaiyo announced, in a post on his Facebook page.

The youthful MP further noted that “mzigo iko kwa lorry ikicome. (The consignment is on its way coming).”
He also committed to following up the pledge to ensure all households in the constituency have DSTVs.
“Indeed, this is a promise to my lovely people of Keiyo South even as I continue serving them as their legislator,” said the youthful MP.
Kimaiyo is serving his first term, after he won the seat in the recently concluded general election.
He vied for the seat on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket.
Already, Multichoice has assured football lovers that it is ready to televise the global tournament.
“We are excited knowing that our customers will catch all the 64 matches of Qatar 2022 LIVE on DStv,” the South African-based company announced.

It is the first time that Qatar is hosting World Cup, and only the second time for a country in Asia is playing host to the tournament.
Japan and South Korea jointly hosted the 2002 World Cup.
