List of 20 Best Performing MPs

Politrack Africa has listed the 20 best-performing Members of Parliament based on a survey that it did across the country.

The survey was done between March 28 and April 28, 2023. It covered all the 290 constituencies and 1,450 wards, with Kenyans aged over 18 that are registered voters being contacted through a phone interview.

According to the survey results released on May 17, 2023, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro was ranked as the best-performing with an approval rating of 73.7 per cent.

Others that had high approval ratings include Babu Owino of Embakasi (72.1%), Didmus Barasa (Kimilili) – 70.6 per cent and Mavoko’s Patrick Makau that had 70.6% tying with Maurice Bissau of Kiminini.

In the North Rift region, Bisau of Kiminini (70.6%) is the only one among the top 10.

Others from the region listed among the top 20 include Mogotio’s Reuben Kiborek (68.7%), Titus Lotee (Kacheliba) – 66.7% and Gideon Kimaiyo of Keiyo South who had an approval rating of 66.1%.
