Preparations for the 2024 Eldoret Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) show have been intensified.
The show is scheduled for early in March, from 6th to 9th.
Eldoret ASK Show chairperson Susan Seron told Journalists on Thursday that already 150 exhibitors have confirmed their participation.
“Most of the exhibitors are from within the country but we have several others coming from neighbouring countries like Tanzania,” Seron said.

ASK Shows are used to teach farmers on various modern technologies they can embrace to enhance productivity and handle challenges in the sector.

Over the years, the Eldoret Show has been used by various state and private entities to showcase innovations.
Eldoret ASK Show chairperson Susan Seron at a past interview.This year, the chairperson said farmers will get a unique opportunity to have their plants tested to ascertain if they have any diseases.

The service will be provided by the Kenya Agricultural Research Organization (KALRO).
“It is the first time KALRO) will be testing the plants. We are asking farmers to come with any of their plants they suspect might have a disease so that they can be checked,” Seron said.
Entry charges for the Eldoret ASK Show
Despite the current high cost of living, the show management said entry fee remains Ksh 250 for adults and Ksh 200 for children.
Individuals that come as a group have a different entry fee.
President William Ruto is expected to grace the opening of the Show on March 9, 2023.
