The Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) has welcomed Caroline Yegon, a newly appointed member of the Hospital Board.
Yegon will serve at Kenya’s second largest public hospital as the Alternate Attorney General.
Welcoming her to the hospital, MTRH board chairperson said her appointment brings valuable legal and governance expertise that will further strengthen the board’s oversight role and support the hospital’s strategic transformation agenda.

On his part, MTRH Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Philip Kirwa noted that the hospital looks forward to working closely with the new board member in advancing service excellence, innovation, and the successful implementation of key infrastructure projects.
Among the projects highlighted by Dr Kirwa, include the Julie Ann Perry Pediatric Oncology Hospital, the Harry J. Dyer Burns Centre, and the 2,000-bed Multi-Specialty MTRH in Kiplombe.
