Preparations for the 2025 Eldoret Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) show are now at an advanced stage.

The annual event, is set to be held early in March.

According to the Eldoret ASK branch chairperson Susan Seron, at least 160 exhibitors have already confirmed their participation.

We anticipate that by the end of the month, 200 exhibitors will have confirmed,” Seron told journalists on Monday, February 17, 2025.

Some of the new exhibitors that will be showcasing their products at the Eldoret Show include the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) and the National Legal Aid Services.

When will Eldoret ASK Show start?

The show will run for four days from March 5th to 8th.

Kesses Member of Parliament CPA Julius Ruto and Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Dr Eric Rutto will grace the first day while Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii will be the chief guest on the second day.

President William Ruto is expected to officially open the show on the third day.

There is a high likelihood that the President will be here,” Seron said.

Last year, then Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua opened the show.

For years, the Eldoret ASK show has been attracting hundreds of farmers keen to learn new technologies in the agriculture sector.

Last year, over 80,000 adults attended the show with the numbers expected to increase to 100,000 this year.

The theme for this year is ‘Promoting Climate Smart Agriculture and Trade Initiatives for Sustainable Economic Development’.

As it has been the tradition, farmers attending the Eldoret ASK show will be able to not only learn about new technologies but also purchase farm inputs such as seeds and fertilizers.

Livestock farmers will also get an opportunity to buy some of the best breeds through the auction.

We have a number of new breeds that will be showcased which have not been here before,” said the Eldoret ASK show chairperson.

Entrance fee for adults is Ksh 250 while children will be required to pay Ksh 200. There are special rates for individuals who will attend the show as a group.
