Locals within KK, Segero and Kasarani settlements in Uasin Gishu County have been assured that ongoing road projects in the areas will be completed as stipulated in contracts.
The projects are being implemented under the World Bank-funded Kenya Informal Settlements Project (KISIP) in partnership with the County Government of Uasin Gishu.
According to lead consultant, Eng. Silas Aluora, construction of the roads is set to meet high standards, with careful attention to detail.
Eng Aluora gave the assurance during a meeting that brought together members of the Settlement Executive Committee (SEC) from the three areas along with area MCA Francis Muya.

The members met with the KISIP County Coordinator Nelly Jerotich, GA Consultants, and contractor ASAL Frontiers to receive an update on the progress of the project.
“We ask that you remain interested and involved in the progress of this project,” Eng. Silas Aluora emphasized.
“You are our eyes on the ground, and it’s vital that any issues or concerns surrounding the project be communicated to us promptly.”
