As the world was celebrating the Day of the African Child, one primary school head teacher decided to mark it in his own unique way.
The Waunifor Primary School headteacher Dancun Chesire decided to wear a uniform similar with that of his pupils.
He was pictured wearing the full school uniform of a green pair of short, a white shirt, a green sweater and a tie.
According to Chesire, he decided to wear the uniform so as to inspire the young learners who look up to him in so many things.

“I decided to wear the uniform to show my passion for education and how much I love their school uniform,” the teacher told Uasin Gishu News
“Also, I wanted to inspire them because I believe education is an equalizer,” he added.
In addition, the headteacher said, “Let us raise our voices and advocate for equal opportunities in education for every African child.”
