Ngeria Technical Training Institute Announces 4 Job Vacancies, Shares How to Apply

Ngeria Technical Training Institute (TTI), a public TVET institution in Kapseret, Uasin Gishu County, has announced vacancies for four positions.

In a job advertisement dated 4th November 2025, the institute said it is seeking qualified persons to fill the positions of Accounts Assistant, Assistant Procurement Officer, General Duty Clerical Staff, and Security Officer.

According to the advert, the institution which is licensed by the TVET Authority under the Ministry of Education, State Department for Technical and Vocational Education and Training, is looking to recruit one person for each post.

Available Ngeria TTI positions and qualifications

Accounts Assistant (1 Post)

Applicants must have at least a pass in Intermediate level (Part II) of the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Examination (Section 3 & 4) or its equivalent, at least two years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management, proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, knowledge of IPSAS and Government of Kenya public finance procedures.

Progress towards CPA Advanced Level (Part III) will be an added advantage.

Assistant Procurement Officer (1 Post)

Requires a diploma in Procurement or Supply Chain Management or related field from a recognized institution, basic knowledge of PPADA 2015 and procurement regulations, demonstrated proficiency in e-GP and MS Office, at least 2 years’ experience in procurement and stores, familiarity with public sector budgeting and procurement processes. Registration and valid license from KISM will be an added advantage.

General Duty Clerical Staff (1 Post)

Applicants need at least Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D+ (plus), a certificate in computer applications, good interpersonal and communication skills. A certificate in office administration/secretarial is an added advantage.

Security Officer (1 Post)

Requires KCSE mean grade of D+, Valid Certificate of Good Conduct, Certificate in security related course, physically and mentally fit, Valid First Aid Certificate, and Certificate in computer applications.

The institute noted that women and Persons with Disability are encouraged to apply, and that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Desired skills for all posts include strong analytical, communication and customer service skills as well as high integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail. Experience working in a TVET educational institution will be an added advantage.
