Langas-based Espodec-Muhoroni Starlets continues to register impressive results in the FKF Upper Rift Regional Women’s League.
Over the weekend, the Starlets under the stewardship of Maurice Kamau secured a comfortable 3-0 win against Kapseret Queens.
In the entertaining game played at Hill School Grounds in Eldoret, goals for the hosts were scored by Mercy Kyalo who had a brace and Yna Cheptoo.

Coach Kamau told Uasin Gishu News that team played well, save for a few mistakes they will work on correcting going forward.
“The match was alright except some errors from the players which we will rectify in training,” the Espodec-Muhoroni Starlets coach said.
During the match, two youngsters also made a debut.
11-year-old Amanda Chepkoech who is a defender was given a full debut while 10-year-old Peace Jemutai made a late cameo.
Jemutai is a striker.

Espodec-Muhoroni Starlets are looking to get a promotion to the FKF Division One league.
They narrowly missed out on the promotion last season after finishing third behind Kakuma Kalobeyei and Kapsabet Queens who were promoted.
Top two teams get a direct promotion.
The FKF Upper Rift Regional Women’s League brings together teams from Uasin Gishu and Nandi Counties.
