Evans Kapkea Calls for Teamwork on His First Day In Office

Uasin Gishu Deputy Governor Evans Kapkea marked his first day in office with a strong emphasis on commitment, diligence, and teamwork.

Addressing staff from the Department of Public Service Management during a familiarization meeting, the Deputy Governor noted the vital role personnel play as the backbone of any successful organization.

DG Kapkea called for unwavering dedication to public service, stressing that collective commitment is essential for the people of Uasin Gishu to experience effective service delivery.

The familiarization exercise, led by County Executive for Public Service Management Elijah Kosgei, provided an opportunity for the Deputy Governor to align with the county’s vision, goals, and priorities.

During the session, the Deputy Governor shared his energy, aspirations, and strategic plans, which aim to bolster service delivery and propel the county forward.

He emphasized the importance of collaboration in achieving the “Nguzo Kumi” agenda spearheaded by Governor Dr. Jonathan Bii.

CECM Kosgei reaffirmed his department’s dedication to supporting the Governor’s agenda while ensuring seamless service delivery.

The Deputy Governor was also briefed on the county’s policies and procedures which are pillars for implementation of leadership and pivotal in administration.
