A family in Eldoret is pleading with well-wishers for support to cover medical bill of their child who has been hospitalized in Top Hill Hospital.
The child has been receiving treatment at the private hospital after suffering severe head injuries.
Nickson Ng’eno, the child’s father says the medical bill currently stands at Ksh950,000.
Ng’eno who is a matatu driver however fears the bill might accumulate up to Ksh2 million.
The child has been in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for the last two weeks after undergoing a head surgery.

Currently, he is admitted at the Top Hill Hospital’s Children’s Ward.
“We don’t know when the child will be discharged and we therefore request any well wishers to support us in covering this bill since I am not employed,” said Hellen Ng’eno, the child’s mother.
According to the family, the child was involved in an accident on May 27, 2023 where a tree fell on him and injured his head.
But upon being rushed to Londiani Hospital in Kericho, they were referred to the Top Hill Hospital in Eldoret for intensive medication.
“The number to be channeled the medical bill financial support and contributions is 0727497430 and it will bear the name Doughlas Mengich in transactions,” said the child’s mother.
