The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Division One Zone D is set to officially kick off this weekend.
Four fixtures are expected to be played across the zones.
In one of the matches, Solasa Stima Queens FC will be at home against Kakamega Starlets.
The game will be played at Mwiruti High School.
FCK Queens will also be at home – Friends College Kamusinga in Vihiga welcoming Kisiwa Starlets FC.
In another match, Chakol Queens will be facing Majesty Queens FC in a game that will be played at Chakol Boys Primary School Grounds, Busia.
The final game for the first round of the FKF Women’s Division One Zone D League will feature newly promoted sides Kakuma Kalobeyei FC and Kapsabet Starlets FC.
The two sides were promoted from the FKF North Rift Regional League.
Kakuma Kalobeyei were regional league champions while Kapsabet Starlets finished second.
The league features women teams from Uasin Gishu, Nandi, Kakamega,Vihiga, Bungoma, Trans Nzoia and Busia counties.
The league continues next weekend with another four matches scheduled.
