Trans Nzoia Governor Patrick Khaemba on Monday evening hosted a delegation from the African Development Bank (ADB) led by Nnenna Lily Nwabufo who called on him in his office for a courtesy visit.
The Governor said ADB has massively supported the county’s development agenda like funding the construction of roads, especially the Kitale –Suam Road that he said will open up the county to more opportunities.

On her part, Nnenna Lily Nwabufo who is the Bank’s Director-General in the East Africa Region said upon completion of the Kitale-Suam road, cross-border business between Kenya and Uganda will grow immensely, with benefits extending to other countries in the region.
She affirmed the African Development Bank’s Commitment to working with other African Countries to ensure improved living standards of the people.
