Uasin Gishu County Executive for Youth Affairs, Eng Lucy Ng’endo has called on the youth to maintain personal hard work and determination even as they agitate for space in governance.
This even as the youth, under their Gen Z signature, get on the frontline in agitating for changes in political governance.
“This is good“, she reiterates, “but in the course of it, have a personal dream and passion in life”.
However, Eng Ng’endo said as much as the young people want to have say in leadership and programs in the society, they ought to keep in mind that “kujituma” is envitable.

She was categorical that determination to prosper and working hard towards that vision is a personal conviction and drive.
It is everyone’s dream to get that good job and or set up that business. However, how well you grow in that job, get promoted to higher positions depend on a personal determination.”
“That includes passion, determination and maintaining trust and integrity in your organization. You can be a leader anywhere but it is your responsibility to keep it,” said the executive.
The county minister was speaking as she opened the new college space for Eldoret (Mwangi’z) Beauty College at Amani Building in Eldoret City.

Eng Ng’endo also called on the youth to embrace technical skills training, like hairdressing and tailoring, as there is ready and wide position for business.
