Kenya’s U-17 National Team Provisional Squad for AFCON U-17 CECAFA Qualifiers Named

Kenya’s U-17 national team coach Salim Babu has named his provisional squad for the upcoming AFCON U-17 CECAFA qualifiers, scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 14, 2024, in Kampala Uganda.

The team is expected to join the camp on Friday, November 29, 2024, and travel to the host nation on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.

The tournament draw is set to take place on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at 3 pm and will involve 9 teams, including hosts Uganda, Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan and Tanzania.

Assistant coach Anthony Akhulia will support coach Babu as they aim to secure qualification for the continental tournament and add it to their repertoire of successes.
