Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital (KUTRRH) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Kenyatta University to further teaching and other areas of cooperation in the Hospital.
The ceremony took place at KUTRRH auditorium and brought together leadership and staff from both institutions.
The KUTRRH team was led by the Chairperson, Board of Directors, James Wambu and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Zeinab Gura while the KU team was led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Paul Wainaina and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics), Prof. Waceke Wanjohi.
In his remarks during the signing ceremony, KUTRRH Board Chairperson lauded the efforts of the leadership of the two institutions as well as the joint implementation committee in their efforts leading to realization of the revised MoU.

He also expressed his commitment to the full implementation of the MoU and attendant operationalization instruments signed.
KUTRRH CEO further acknowledged the arduous journey it has taken from the initial MoU in 2020, the challenges that followed over time and the positive achievements realized by the two institutions working together in realization of the joint MoU and further collaboration.
She thanked all stakeholders for their commitment to realizing the common objectives in quality training and research.
Kenyatta University Vice-Chancellor thanked the joint teams and expressed optimism in realization of the aspirations by the two institutions KUTRRH through the MoU.

He noted that implementation of the MoU through the agreed instruments will not only help streamline access to teaching and learning for KU Health Science students at KUTRRH but also facilitate collaboration in areas of shared mandate such as research.
